Conversations about mortality, especially the death of a loved one are often avoided in fear of provoking further anguish for those suffering. This piece, however, was created in the spirit of initiating a dialogue to reflect on the brevity of life and its interconnectedness to all other life, both past, present, and future.<\/p>\n<p>The mobius strip, a shape that is universally understood as a symbol of eternity, also reflects my own feelings of reverence for the life we live.
