I stumbled across these suitcases while sorting through a loved ones\u2019 home after they passed away. The suitcases were full of belongings and memories, a time capsule of someone\u2019s life. It was comforting to imagine the history behind each object but there was an overwhelming reminder of the absence of life. This experience made me reflect on and question my own life. I am at a significant crossroads in discovering who I am and who I want to be. I carry around a weight that makes me feel as if I&#8217;m longing for something and the only place where this pressure lifts is when I am surrounded by plants and nature. <em>Passage<\/em> creates a space to evoke memories of the past and reflect on the path ahead.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I would like to acknowledge that I live and work on the shared, unceded ancestral territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Sumas and Matsqui peoples.
