Organizers<\/strong><\/p>\n The School of Creative Arts (SoCA), under the umbrella of the College of Arts at the University of the FraserValley (UFV), Abbotsford BC, Canada.<\/p>\n Participants and Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n All current UFV students were invited to design and submit original posters to the 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Biannual pARTicipate Poster Competition, this year\u2019s theme is\u00a0It\u2019s Possible!\u00a0Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning students, and selected entries have been be posted as part of a digital exhibition on the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallerywebsite.<\/p>\n Competition history<\/strong><\/p>\n The pARTicipate Poster Competition project has been running bi-annually since 2009 with its aim to foster imagination, criticality, visual thinking, graphic design skills and to promote social awareness and activism.<\/p>\n Background<\/strong><\/p>\n The 7th<\/sup> pARTicipate Poster Competition\u2019s theme It\u2019s Possible! is motivated by Canada\u2019s National Career Month \u2013 celebrated each November \u2013 but extends this dialogue beyond the original month-long focus.<\/p>\n To promote and advance the agenda of achieving employment goals, we are seeking posters that represent an examination of the role of work in creating an accessible, equitable and hopeful world.
