The University of the Fraser Valley\u2019s School of Creative Arts (SoCA) is proud to present ART IN PRACTICE: SoCA Faculty & Staff Exhibit<\/strong>, a new group exhibition showcasing the dynamic work of Visual Arts faculty and staff members. Spanning diverse media and approaches, the show offers a glimpse into the creative practices that shape, inspire, and mentor the next generation of artists.<\/p>\n

ART IN PRACTICE<\/strong> highlights the ongoing professional practices of the Visual Arts faculty and staff across a range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and video. As artists and technicians, these individuals play a vital role in shaping UFV\u2019s creative community, not only through teaching but through active engagement in contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The exhibition opens on September 10<\/strong> at the S\u2019eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery<\/strong>, located on the UFV Abbotsford campus, and runs through until September 29<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An opening reception<\/strong> will be held on September 10 at 12:30 pm<\/strong> in the gallery. All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.<\/p>\n
