Through photography, mixed media, and installation, the exhibition captures how home is carried across borders, embedded in memory, and shaped by relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring Anushray Singh (UFV SoCA sessional faculty) with SoCA alumni and student artists Yukun Lin, Zee Coulter, Eddy Rubi, Piper Hornall, Yamel Olivan, Shaevi Khatri, Kay Ber\u00a0and Mithil Dedhia. Each artist reimagines &#8216;home&#8217; through a deeply personal lens \u2014 from everyday objects to symbolic connections that bind us across distance and time. Collectively, the works open a dialogue on belonging, identity, and the spaces we create for ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>The work is part of Singh\u2019s ongoing oeuvre, exploring <em>Home, Nostalgia,<\/em> and the <em>Third Space<\/em> through themes of migration, memory, spirituality, and archetypal patterns. His immersive video installations combine archival footage, projection, sound, and poetic text, transforming the gallery into a space illuminated only by memory and imagination.<\/p>\n<p>In its fourth iteration, <em>Where is Home?<\/em> expands from an individual reflection into a collective inquiry \u2014 weaving together ideas, felt emotions, and lived experiences across cultures.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition opens on <strong>October 10<\/strong> at the <strong>S\u2019eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery<\/strong>, located on the UFV Abbotsford campus, and runs through until<strong> November 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>welcoming reception<\/strong> will be held on <strong>Wednesday, October 15, 11:30 am \u2013 1:00 pm <\/strong>in the gallery.
